Städtebund Silberberg

Silberberg Towns Association

The Erzgebirge towns of Aue-Bad Schlema, Lauter-Bernsbach, Lößnitz, Schneeberg and Schwarzenberg work closely together in the Silberberg Town Association. This cooperation has resulted in, among other things, a tourism cooperation to create a joint hiking region and a circular hiking trail that connects all five partner towns.

The very varied region of the Silberberg alliance of towns and cities captivates visitors with its impressive mining heritage, important industrial sites and beautiful landscapes and natural experiences. It is considered pristine, unique, varied and offers a high experience value. The close ties between the local population and the Ore Mountains are evident to every guest through the greeting "Glück Auf" and the spoken Ore Mountain dialect. The typical Erzgebirge symbols, such as the candle arch and pyramid, can also be found in the town centres, and not only at Christmas time.
