The "W@nderbarer Silberberg" circular hiking trail not only offers you a very special hiking experience. It also offers hikers of all ages the opportunity to explore the diversity and history of the places along the route in a unique digital way, step by step.
 

How does it work? It's simple: hikers will find more than 100 QR - codes along the trail. If you scan these with a tablet or smartphone, you will receive interesting information about important places, well-known personalities or very special stories.

Five categories are available:
MINING, LANDSCAPE & NATURE, INDUSTRIAL HISTORY, EXTRAORDINARY & REGIONAL and CHURCH & FAITH

So look out for our QR codes along the route, scan them diligently and become a Städtebund insider while hiking - have fun!
